Senior Paediatric Research Nurse

We are recruiting an innovative and enthusiastic Paediatric Registered Nurse with experience in Clinical Research to assist us in providing high quality planned nursing care for patients and volunteers participating in Clinical Research. This post will be based at the Children's Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) within the Royal Hospital for Sick Children but may also involve working at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility and Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility WGH.

Edinburgh's Clinical Research Facility (CRF) incorporates The Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility (WTCRF) at the WGH the RIE Clinical Research Facility (RIECRF) at Little France The Children's Clinical Research Facility at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (CCRF) and The Centre for Dementia Prevention (CDP). Jointly they provide a streamlined service to investigators of any discipline to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely.

Clinical Measurement Technician

Jointly they provide a streamlined service to investigators of any discipline to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely.

We are recruiting an innovative and enthusiastic Clinical Measurement Technician to support the clinical team in processing and management of clinical research samples. The post holder will also be involved in CRF equipment tracking and management, and support the Nursing Team in maintaining quality standards. This post will primarily be based at the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility at WGH. The post holder will be expected to work across sites on occasion.

Are you an experienced, proactive web application developer with good communication skills?

Come and join our enthusiastic and friendly web development and support team at the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF), University of Edinburgh. Our team develops and supports web applications, and currently provides software contracts to 50+ clients across Europe.

In this role you will work with another developer to complete the first phase of design and development of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) web application. This system will be used by our Genetics, Nursing and Clinical and Mass Spectrometry laboratory areas initially and then we plan to promote the system Europe-wide as we have for CRFManager®. You will also work with our team and clients, using your development skills to help us further develop or test other projects, such as the CRF's main product, CRFManager®.

This post is offered on a one year contract initially with the possibility to extend, depending on funding available. The post will be based in the Western General Hospital, in Edinburgh, but may rarely involve occasional travel to sites across Edinburgh and around the UK and Ireland.

We anticipate interviews will be held in the week beginning 4th of September 2017.
